ロンドン・ベルリン、2022年3月28日 – 本日、ルフトハンザ・カーゴとcargo.oneは、航空貨物の予約時に貨物輸送業者が有効な航空運送状（AWB）ナンバーの在庫を持っている必要があると言う前提条件を取り除く共同イノベーションを開始しました。シームレスな予約体験の一環として、cargo.oneユーザーは、ルフトハンザ・カーゴの広範なグローバルの容量を予約し、AWBを自動的に割り当てることができるようになりました。このことで予約にかかる時間がさらに短縮され、予約エラーが少なくなると言うメリットもあり、顧客中心のデジタル配信の観点から航空会社の新しいスタンダードを推進する一例とも言えます。
長年、航空貨物の予約の進行はAWBナンバーの手動入力で行われてきました。これは、過去の書面による事務処理を反映するように設計されたプロセスです。貨物輸送業者の手元にAWBナンバーの在庫が切れてしまった場合、航空会社からAWBナンバーが届くのを待っている間は予約ができず、ビジネスの損失につながる可能性があります。AWBナンバーの在庫管理には、フォワーダーと航空会社の両方の努力が必要です。
