What excited you about joining the initiative?
I wanted to collect some new experiences and the chance to share our needs and my own ideas with an open mind team. My personal reasons were to see how a start-up and such a young and pleasant team is working.
In a few sentences, what did your week at cargo.one look like?
In the morning I had some time to check my emails and make some calls. On the first day, we’ve started to split our own process and tried to find out where we have some processes with room for improvement and where cargo.one could assist with tools or features. This was the topic for the whole week. Mostly we started with our first session round about ten. There we tried to find new ideas for tools and features. In the afternoon our ideas from the morning were already designed to review and discuss further improvements. In the meantime, I had some fantastic meetings with the sales and PR Team to collect some thoughts from logistics forwarders to optimize the sales and marketing process. Of course the cargo.one team gave me enough time to do my own work.
What are the main take away from working side by side with the cargo.one team?
It helps a lot to visualize processes and needs to get a better overview.
Is there anything you would want to implement straight away or continue doing, in your own company?
First I would like to improve that ideas or proposals will be reviewed and implemented in a more efficient way and shorter time. On the other side, I would like to continue having almost fixed working times.
In a nutshell, what is cargo.one for you?
Cargo.one is the best and most efficient tool for bookings and to get a market overview (live rates and capacities from different airlines and routings). Furthermore, I can see a big development and potential for the future.
